Today's post is very special. It is a blogger swap, a very fun post in the blogsphere. A blogger swap is an exchange between bloggers, in this case the same garment.

My first blogger swap is with Dahyana from Twenty-Twelve.  She is a blogger from Mexicali, my hometown. I saw one of her posts that she wore the famous origami skirt or skort from Zara but in black.  Dahyana and me have very different style and we found very good idea to collaborate together and show our styles through the skort. Then Dahyana showed me her look, and I was surprised how similar the looks were. So the important question is, the skort made us to dress alike?

About the outfit, my favorite thing is my new earrings from efoxcity.net. They are so beautiful and versatile. I really want them to be the star of the outfit.

El día de hoy les traigo un post diferente, un blogger swap, una sección muy divertida que he visto mucho entre bloggers. Un blogger swap es un intercambio entre bloggers, en este caso usando la misma prenda. 

Mi primer "Blogger Swap" es con Dahyana de Twenty-Twelve. Ella es una blogger de mi ciudad. Me había dado cuenta en uno de sus posts que Dahyana tenía la famosa falda origami que todas las bloggers están usando pero de color negra.  Las dos tenemos estilos diferentes y nos pareció muy buena idea el colaborar juntas. Cada una va a enseñar su estilo a través de la falda.
Pero cuando me enseño su look nos dimos cuenta que nos vestimos casi igual pero con tonalidades diferentes. Acaso, ¿La falda nos hizo que nos vistiéramos iguales?

I'm feeling so hipster

They say that stripes make you look fat and one should get away from them especially the pear body, which means when you have small back, short bust, small waist and large hips. I have that kind of body.

I inherited my mother's hips. I always try to hide them, however when I saw this dress at Forever 21 and I tried it on, I knew it was for me. It is super comfortable for a Sunday.

What I like about the dress is the cut in the bottom. 

To disguise my hips a little bit I wore a denim vest. So all the focus of my body would be at the top.

Also, I wore heels and that makes your body to look slimmer and stylish.

I want to show you my new glasses with retro style. 

Every time I wear them I feel like a  hipster girl. The glasses are from Firmoo. 

The great thing about this brand is that the first pair of glasses is free. 

There are a lot of variety of glasses that you can choose from.

Dicen que las rayas te hacen ver gorda y que uno debe de alejarse de ellas sobretodo las de cuerpo de pera, que es cuando tu tienes espalda pequeña, poco busto, poca cintura y grandes cadera y bien formadas. Yo tengo ese cuerpo de pera. 

Tengo mucha cadera gracias a mi madre. Siempre tanto de disimularlas pero cuando vi este vestido en Forever 21 y me lo probé,sabía que era para mí. Esta super cómodo para un domingo. Lo que más me gustó es su corte en la parte de abajo. Lo que hice para que disimular las caderas es ponerme un chaleco de mezclilla y así enfoco toda la vista en la parte superior de mi cuerpo. 

Aparte al estar en tacones, haces que tu cuerpo se ve delgado y estilizado. 

Les quiero mostrar mis lentes con estilo retro. Cada vez que me los pongo me siento como toda una hipster. Los lentes son de la marca Firmoo. Lo genial de esta marca de lentes es que el primer par te lo da gratis. Tiene una gran variedad de lentes así que tienes de donde escoger.
