Hi my petites!

Its been awesome getting to know my new city. It has been two weeks since I moved here.
Scottsdale is a beautiful city. With lots of restaurants, malls and bars. I love my work! And the girls at the office are super nice with me. 

In case you are wondering where am I working at... I work at Bloguettes; a two-day blogging and branding workshop, and at the mexican blog "estoespurpura".

Well today I'll show you some pictures of Old Town. Last saturday, my family came to visit me. We had lunch together at P.E. Chang's, and walked around Old Town. I think this is my favorite part of the city. It is so vintage, boho and indian. The stores are colorful and funny. We only stayed there for a little time because of a huge storm that came out of nowhere, and we got super wet cause of that.

I hope you like the pictures. It's been a while since I take some photos. I really want to practice my photography so you can all enjoy more of Scottsdale.

PhotoDiary: San Diego Zoo

Aprovechamos el fin de semana del 4 de julio para ir a San Diego Zoo mi familia y yo. 

Desde los 5 años no había vuelto a regresar a este lugar. Fue muy divertido regresar al zoológico y ver toda clase de animales.  Lo único malo es que hacia mucha calor y un sol que me estaba volviendo más morena de lo que soy jajajaja

El zoológico tiene muchas áreas y creo que solamente vi un 30% de todo el lugar. Lo más fascinante fueron los pandas, los diferentes felinos que tienen y los elefantes. Me hubiera encantando tomarles fotos a los últimos pero estaba en el tour bus y ni tiempo pude.

En la hora de la comida, fuimos a comer en un restaurante chino cuando nos toco justamente enfrente de nosotros un show de acróbatas chinos. Fue genial. Tuvimos mucha suerte la verdad. Me hubiera encantado tomar más fotos del lugar. Definitivamente si van a San Diego una vez en sus vidas, les recomiendo que vayan con su familia. Esta justamente a lado de Balboa Park, es un parque inmenso en San Diego y también esta hermoso. Esta lleno de museos, tiendas y galerías. 

Espero les haya gustado las fotos. Hace mucho que no hacía un photodiary en el blog. Espero salir más de mi desierto para que conozcan más lugares y así yo practicar en mi fotografía.

Last week passed so fast. Every photo in this entry was from my week, I wanted to portray how my daily life is. Basically this year has been a series of feelings and new experiences. It’s only been two months and they were crazy, I can’t wait to see how this year is going to turn out.

The “Loques” Magazine received really good reviews, many printing presses and people congratulated me. I feel like a proud mother. It’s always been my dream to work at a magazine and have it printed on my own hands; it was a big mix of emotions. Yes, it had its mistakes, mostly orthographic ones, but the design was really well received, even the most demanding design teacher congratulated me. So, if you’re from Mexicali, look for it.

Finally, I want to thank with all my heart every person who comment my entries, it makes my heart race, I get so excited seeing all your comments, and you also make me love my blog even more. It’s always been a dream of mine to have a blog, and you guys make it possible. It’s a small blog, like its writer, but it’s made with love. I would really love to know more about you, and if you want to know more about me feel free to leave your questions, and in a future I’ll make a F.A.Q.

La fotografía siempre ha sido una gran inspiración para mí y unos de mis grandes escapes de la realidad. Nunca me he considerado una gran fotógrafa porque siempre me he comparado a mis mejores amigas, que son súper buenas pero aún así no me desánimo y practico siempre. Uno de mis sueños es ser fotógrafa de modas y espero algún día serlo.

Pd. Cambie el diseño del blog, porque se me antojo. Espero les guste.

Last week I went to Sakura, a Japanese restaurant on my home town Mexicali. It’s one of my favorite restaurants. What I love about this place it’s that cookers prepare the food right in front of you and it’s delicious. If one day you come to Mexicali, you must stop by this restaurant. The food is so good and the cookers are really friendly. I went with my whole family.
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting that much, but I got a job in a fashion magazine. I’m really excited about it. Also, I have a boyfriend. This year has been amazing so far. I’m really busy making my dreams come true. Next entry I’m posting my favorite Golden Globes 2012 dresses.

La semana pasada fui al Sakura, un restaurante japonés de mi ciudad natal, Mexicali. Es uno de mis restaurantes favoritos. Lo que me encanta de este restaurante, es que te hacen la comida enfrente de ti y esta deliciosa. Si un día conocen Mexicali, deben de pasar por este restaurante. La comida es de calidad y los cocineros son muy amigables. Fui con toda mi familia.

Lo siento si no he posteado mucho, pero conseguí un trabajo en una revista de modas. Estoy muy emocionada. También ya tengo un novio, este año ha resultado fabuloso. Ando muy ocupada y haciendo mis sueños realidad. La proxima entrada voy a postear mis vestidos favoritos de los Golden Globes 2012.

Feliz año nuevo a todos!
Ojalá que todos sus nuevos deseos y metas se hagan realidad en este año y se la hayan pasado muy bien con sus seres queridos. Mi año nuevo fue muy tranquilo, estuve con la familia de mi padre y tuvimos nuestros juegos chuscos como siempre.

Hace unos días fui al Bosque de la Ciudad, el zoológico de mi ciudad, a pasear los perros de mi amiga Katy. Fue un día muy divertido, nunca he tenido un perro, así que fue toda una experiencia nueva sacar a pasear a uno y aproveche para conocer el lugar. Hace un año que no lo visitaba y la verdad ha mejorado bastante.
