Happy Monday!
This week I'm very happy because I will be in Mexico the whole week. I will visit my friends and family, I will have lunch at my favorite restaurants and go to the movies (that is much cheaper than in the United States). On Wednesday I will go to San Diego for Bastille's show, which is one of my favorite bands. It will be a really great week although I will work at my mom's house.

Though I have being living in Arizona for two months, I must admit that it feels kinda weird to leave my department for so long. The last time I visited Mexicali I felt very out of place. Now I'll spend a week over there and I hope I do not feel like a fish out of the water. I love my life in Arizona but still I have Mexico in my petite heart.

The look of today I wore last Saturday while shopping with my friends. I had no desire to wear pants and shorts. None of my casual dresses were clean, so I took this formal dress from Macys, that I bought for only 10 dlls (!!!!!). To get rid of that formal feeling, I combined it with a denim jacket and these ankle booties. That day at the mall in every store I walked in, the employees told me the dress was beautiful. It received many positive reviews. It was worth those 10 dlls.

¡Feliz lunes y puente a todos!
Esta semana estoy muy contenta porque estaré una semana en México. Visitaré a mis amigos y mi familia. Aprovecharé para comer en mis restaurantes favoritos, ir al cine que esta mucho más barato que en Estados Unidos y el miércoles iré a San Diego al concierto de Bastille, que es uno de mis grupos favoritos. Realmente será una gran semana a pesar de que trabajaré en casa de mi mamá.

Aunque llevo dos meses en Arizona, debo de admitir que se siente raro dejar mi departamento por tanto tiempo, la última vez que visite Mexicali me sentí muy fuera de lugar. Ahora que estaré una semana espero no sentirme como un pez afuera del agua. Se escuchará raro pero ya me acostumbré a la vida de Arizona. Aún así tengo a México en mi corazón.

El look del día de hoy lo usé el sábado pasado mientras fui de compras. No tenía para nada ganas de usar pantalón y short, y no tenía ningún vestido informal, así que tomé este vestido de Macys, que lo compre en las especiales pasadas por solo 10 dlls (!!!!!). Para quitarle lo formal, le puse una chamarra de mezclilla encima y unos botines de tacón bajo. Ese día, en el centro comercial, en cada tienda que entraba las empleadas me decían que estaba hermoso mi vestido. A pesar de que el vestido estuvo escondido por la chamarra, recibió muchos comentarios positivos. Valió la pena esos 10 dlls.

Outfit } Pumpkin Patch Outfit

I was very excited when at work the Bloguettes Team told us we were going on a roadtrip to a pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch was at Mother Nature's Farm in Gilbert, Arizona. It was going to be my first pumpkin patch. So american. They also told us to dress up resembling the fall a bit. 

I had a blast with the Bloguettes Team and the other 5 beautiful interns at the pumpkin patch. We had a lot of fun and took many quirky pictures. You can read and see more pictures at their blog. 

About the outfit, I got inspired by a lot of fall inspiration boards at Pinterest. I think the main key to get a fall inspired outfit is a plaid shirt. All the interns were wearing one so I think I did it well jajaja.

Me emocioné mucho cuando en el trabajo Bloguettes Team nos dijo que iríamos a un huerto de calabazas. El huerto de calabazas estaba en Mother’s Nature Farm ubicado en Gilbert, Arizona. 

Iba a ser mi primera visita a un huerto. Muy americano. También nos dijeron que nos vistiéramos inspiradas en el otoño.

Tuve un gran día con Bloguettes Team y otras cinco hermosas internas en el huerto de calabazas. Nos divertimos mucho y tomamos varias fotos peculiares. Pueden leer y ver más sobre esta experiencia en su blog.

Sobre el outfit, me inspiré en varios boards de inspiración de otoño en Pinterest. Creo que lo que hace a un outfit para el otoño es una camiseta de cuadros. Todas las internas estaban usando una, así que creo que lo hice bien jajaja.

OUTFIT: It's fall featuring my roomie

Hi my petites!

This week I went to walk and drink a coffee with my Paulina, my roomie, at a mall in Scottsdale. I brought my camera with me to took pictures of us and shared our styles with you. Here at Scottsdale, the fall is already here and I am thankful for the beautiful weather.

I wore that day my oversized leopard top from this vintage store from my hometown, Fluxury, my favorite black booties and pants. My favorite piece of the outfit was my hat. I really love hats but at my hometown I was embarrassed to wear one but here at Arizona, it is very common. Now I want to try to wear more hats for fall. 

Paulina's style is very basic but still very feminine. The accessories make her outfit to stand up. Look how the pink heels match perfectly with her mint top. Do you like her style? I hope she wants to be more on the blog because she is amazing!

Yesterday was my birthday! I'm 23. Holy jesus!When did this happened?? hahahaI am going to tell you about my birthday party.

Something you need to know about me is that I love themes parties. They are fun and hilarious.This year I was so inspired by The Great Gatsby and Midnight in Paris. I love the 1920s. Everything was shiny, glamorous, and even sexy. 

This birthday party was before moving out to Scottsdale. It was also my farewell party and it was the perfect occasion to say goodbye to my friends and family. I was so glad everybody dressed up to the occasion. It was fun to see my friends on tuxedo and the girls with little black dresses, wigs and pearls.

I got my costume done thanks to Celeste from Rent Amé. It is a store from my hometown where you can rent dresses for any occasion. It includes the jewelry and bag. The idea is awesome cause sometimes you only need a dress for a party or for a wedding, and you don't want to spend a lot of money on a dress you're only going to use once.

My best friend Metzli got my hair done, and I did my own makeup. 

It was smoky eyes and dark lips, which is how they use the makeup back then.

The party was very fun.

At the end of the night, I almost cried when I realized it was the last time I was going to see a lot of my friends in a long time.

Hi my petites!

This look is casual but with a chic hint.  This crop top is cotton, fresh and very informal but with a pencil black skirt and this 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target purse can change the whole set.  I wasn't very sure to show you this look because I don't like tight clothes. I think it's good to show you how sometimes you can hard time with some garments but in the end, it's how you feel and to know how to solve the problem.

Btw, do you saw the EMMYS yesterday? I'm sad because my favorite shows didn't win again thanks to Breaking Bad. I hope next year, Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey gets something.

Hola mis petites!

Este look lo considero casual pero con ese toque chic. El crop top es de algodón, fresco y muy informal pero con una falda de lápiz y bolsa mediana logra ese cambio CHIC.  No soy de usar prendas muy ajustadas pero uso siempre debe de tratar nuevas cosas y saber como combinar esas prendas difíciles que uno no esta acostumbrado. 

Por cierto, vieron los EMMYS ayer? Realmente sigo frustrada de que mis favoritos no ganen. 

Soy gran fan de Game of Thrones y Downton Abbey y no ganaron gracias a Breaking Bad. Ahora que se acabo esta serie, espero el próximo año ya tenga premios jajaja

Soy una persona muy indecisa. Me es difícil tomar una decisión luego luego sin tomar en cuenta todas las posibilidades y analizar las consecuencias de mis decisiones. Soy libra, que más se puede pedir.

Pero hay varias cosas de las que estoy 100% segura de mi vida.Una de ellas es que me iría de intercambio escolar, ya lo hice el año pasado cuando fui a España, segundo que para casarme necesito un anillo Tiffany's y tercero que voy a vivir y trabajar fuera de mi ciudad natal en mi edad adulta. 

Al parecer el tercero se va a cumplir más pronto de lo que pensé. Quiero decirles la noticia pero hasta que este 100% confirmada, lo voy a gritar por todos los cielos. Mi vida va dar una vuelta de 360 grados si se hace y estoy muy nerviosa. 

Hoy les comparto este look muy lady like. Ya me habían visto en Diciembre este falda roja y ahora la volví a usar en un atuendo veraniego.  Lo use para la fiesta de cumpleaños de mi hermanita y me dijeron que parecía de esas esposas de los años 50's jajajaja ahora no más me falta el pastel recién horneado y el esposo leyendo el periódico.

I'm not a very good at taking decisions. It is very difficult for me to take one right away. I need to look up for all the options and consequences but there are 3 things that I am very sure about my life. 

1) I will go to student exchange abroad. Checked 

2) I will get an engagement ring at Tiffany's. (Not yet)

3) I will work and live in another city (Almost).

This third thing is almost a reality. Maybe next month, I will move out and I am nervous, to be really honest with you. I will tell more details when it is 100% sure. Now my life will make a big change. 

About today's outfit. It is very lady like. You already saw it before in December  here. 

Now I wore again this skirt with a summer look. I wore it on my little sister's birthday party. 

My family told me that I looked like a 50's wife. Now I need to bake a cake and a husband reading the newspaper jajaja.

On the opening of Sex and the City we saw Carrie Bradshaw wearing a ballerina skirt. That moment, every girl in the world wanted to wear one. I wasn't the exception.

I never went to ballet classes but I had always wanted to go. The reason was because I could wear those beautiful customs.  Even Edgar Degas's ballerinas are one of my favorite paintings.

I cannot express my love when I spotted this ballerina skirt at Romwe. It was like a dream come true. It is a very beautiful and magical skirt. The fabric have shining details. I wish you can see it on the photos. Maybe I'm not a dancer but I felt like one with this outfit.  

I wanted all the details to be classic, feminine and romantic.

It's already Wednesday!

I can't believe it! Time goes so fast. 

For today's post I want to show it this basic black and white combination. My closet has been getting little by little crop tops this summer. They are my new obsession.  You are going to see a lot of them in the new outfits posts. 

Don’t be afraid of wearing crop tops. You can be feminine and not overexposed. It’s all about choosing the right length for your kind of body. Combined them with your favorite bottoms, here it is a tip: try to avoid showing your belly button. Last but very important: Stay classy and sophisticated with your high heels or a high length skirt.
