I'm so happy that Jennifer Lawrence won for Best Actress. She deserved it so much. So young and talented. I wish I was her.//

Estoy muy feliz de que Jennifer Lawrence ganó como Mejor Actriz. Ella se lo merecía. Tan joven y talentosa. Ojalá fuera ella.  

My favorite of the awards: Marion Cotillard is with Dior Haute Couture Dress, Dior Heels and Chopard Jewelry. Also she shines with her new haircut. I love short hairs. //

Mi favorita de los premios fue Marion Cotillard con su vestido y tacones de Dior y joyería de Chopard. También brillo con su nuevo corte de cabello. Amo los cabellos cortos. 

Black also rocked out the red carpet with Kelly Osbourne and Anne Hathaway. //

El color negro también estuvo presente en estos precios, tenemos de ejemplo a Kelly Osbourne y Anne Hathaway feliz por su nuevo premio a Mejor Actriz de Reparto. 

Sparkling dress were present on the red carpet. Remember, white is the new trend color for Spring/Summer 2013.//

También aparecieron vestidos de color blanco y brillantes. Recuerden que el color blanco estará muy en tendencia para esta primavera/verano. 

Last but not least, young actresses opted for a strong pink dress as Lea Michele for Glee and Nina Dobrev. Did you like it?//

Por último pero no menos importante, las jóvenes optaron por un fuerte color rosa de vestido como podemos ver en Lea Michele de Glee y Nina Dobrev.

Golden Globes 2013

Black was the my favorite color on the Golden Globes. Those dresses were my favorite. Rachel Weisz was divine with her polka dot dress of Louis Vuitton. She was my favorite. Katie Hudson was so sexy with her Alexander McQueen.

WHITE: The new color trend of Spring/Summer 2013. They look flawless especially Anne Hathaway with her pixie cut. Congrats with her award. I was crying with her acceptance speech. 

Jennifer Lawrence was beautiful as a princess with her Christian Dior. Her hair was divine and makeup  was so simple and beautiful. She is really a good role model for teenage girls. 

I'm not a fan of Naomi Watts but her dress was fantastic. I'm so happy to saw someone using a winter color on the awards.

I love awards. They are wonderful with all these beautiful gowns.  What I love about the Emmys are that all my favorite TV-Stars come.  From Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey and more.

And I noticed that this year many actresses wore yellow.  Is yellow the new trend color on gowns? What do you think?

Cannes 2012

Viva la France!

Cannes week is everywhere. It’s a magnificent festival and this year was number 65^th. I was fascinated with all the celebrities who attended and all the clothes used this year. There’s only one word to describe everything I saw:

VINTAGE

High heels, dresses, hairstyles and jewelry. It’s a really big trend and I think it’ll last a long time. The hairstyles went from the basic bun to the messy hair; and we can’t forget about Jessica Chastain’s loose hair, of course. Make up was really simple and everyone wore neutral or light lipstick, of course, there were exceptions.

Watching all the pictures I didn’t know what to write this entry about, a best dressed or favorite hairstyles or what. I prefer to put pictures of everything I liked :). I hope you like it as much as I did.

Best Dressed: Met Gala 2012

It was my imagination but I think I saw a lot of metallics and brown lipstick this year. It was wonderful to saw all these beautiful gowns. I really love all the strong and modern gowns of everyone. Definitely this red carpet was fabulous.

Now my top five of best dressed.

5. Leighton Meester in a gold Marchesa dress with a lace bodice and poufy tulle skirt.

4.Dianna Agron in an emerald green Carolina Herrera Gown.

Best Dressed: The Academy Awards

And the awards season hit its ending with the 84th Academy Awards yesterday. Actually this is my favorite season of the year, I love seeing the new designs and my favorite actresses on my T.V. I really liked this year Oscars, much better than last year, I had so much fun even though I didn’t like Hugo winning, and I’m still bitter because Harry Potter didn’t win a thing.

Now, let’s talk about the dresses: Black was the favorite for the night, everyone was wearing it and I didn’t expect that. We’re at spring/summer, I thought I’d see pastels and white but no, I saw glitter, black, glitter, black and glitter, I loved it. Black is one of my favorite colors to dress and I adored to see everyone wearing it.

Now my top 5 best dressed:

5. Rose Byrne in Vivienne Westwood.

The time I saw it, I loved it. Black, simple and with glitter. I loved the shoulder cut and she looked beautiful. I wanted to know who did it, and when I heard the name of my favorite designer, I knew why I liked it so much.

4. Natalie Portman in Dior.

My favorite actress looked beautiful in this 1958 vintage dress. Dots are in this season, and watching her in this red vintage dress was the best, besides her simple hairstyle and jewelry.

3. Rooney Mara in Givenchy

The new fashion it girl. What I love about her is that she has her own style, simple but gothic. We’ve always seen her wearing black and when I saw her in that white gown and she gave the back, I quickly knew she was one of my favorites. If you have the chance to look for pics of the back of the dress, you’ll understand. I would just really love to wear a dress like that.

2. Milla Jovovich in Emiliano Castro Vizcarra

Being her first time at the Oscars, she knew what to wear. I’ve never been a fan of her but I loved her white dress. She looked like a goddess.

1. Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen

An Alexander McQueen never fails. The moment I saw Jessica with that black, gold sequin dress, posing in the red carpet, I knew it was my favorite from the evening. She looked beautiful, even my boyfriend loved the dress. I loved its details and mostly because it was an Alexander McQueen.
