And the little winter at my hometown is finally over. Just like in some places winter is extending for too long, here at Mexicali it’s over and our Spring (well actually summer) just arrived. 

Here, in the Pacific, is already very hot. Our mornings are fresh, our afternoons are hot and our nights are a little bit cold. 

Because of this weather, I can’t stop wearing shorts and my favorite summer tops. When I bought the skort from Zara last year, I didn't wear it so much as I would have liked. I made myself a promise to wear it more. So you are going to see it a lot in the blog. This outfit is very fresh and simple. I was very happy during the photo shoot because I do really like hot afternoons.

El pequeño invierno en mi ciudad natal finalmente se acabó. Así como en otros lugares sus inviernos se están haciendo súper largos, aquí en Mexicali se acabó para bien y nuestra primavera llegó. Aunque no sé si llamarla primavera, porque no la tenemos. 

Aquí en el Pacífico solamente tenemos dos estaciones: Verano e Invierno. Nuestras mañanas son frescas, un calorón muy fuerte en las tardes y nuestras noches con un poquito de frió. 

Con este clima, no he podido evitar usar mis shorts y blusas veraniegas favoritas. Cuando compré la skort de Zara el año pasado, no la use tanto como me hubiera gustado. Me hice una promesa este año de usarla mucho, así que la verán bastante. Este outfit es súper fresco y sencillo. Estaba muy feliz en esta seción de fotos porque me gusta mucho el clima caliente.

What to wear: Midi Skirts

La falda más trendy para esta primavera es la midi-skirt o la falda por debajo de la rodilla. La mayoría de mis blogs favoritos ya la están incorporando poco a poco a sus atuendos esta temporada. 

Yo estoy más que fascinada y contenta con la idea. Me gusta sentirme como esas amas de casa de los años 60's jajaja.

No creas que todo es femenino con esta falda. Puedes agregarle una chaqueta de cuero o unos botines y ya es un look más tomboy. Los accesorios y complementos harán la diferencia.

Debes de tener cuidado con esta falda ya que es algo batallosa. Como tiene mucho volumen puede hacerte lucir muy pequeña. Por lo que te recomiendo sus mejores aliados, los tacones o botines con tacón. Te harán lucir un cuerpo más esbelto.  

También que el top sea pegado a tu cuerpo. Puedes aprovechar que los crop tops están en tendencia para combinarla con tu midi-skirt. 

Esta pieza es MUY femenina y una de mis favoritas. Aprovecha que regresaron y prueba una. También hay con corte recto por si no quieres tanto volumen.
