Viva la France!

Cannes week is everywhere. It’s a magnificent festival and this year was number 65^th. I was fascinated with all the celebrities who attended and all the clothes used this year. There’s only one word to describe everything I saw:

VINTAGE

High heels, dresses, hairstyles and jewelry. It’s a really big trend and I think it’ll last a long time. The hairstyles went from the basic bun to the messy hair; and we can’t forget about Jessica Chastain’s loose hair, of course. Make up was really simple and everyone wore neutral or light lipstick, of course, there were exceptions.

Watching all the pictures I didn’t know what to write this entry about, a best dressed or favorite hairstyles or what. I prefer to put pictures of everything I liked :). I hope you like it as much as I did.

Just a quick look. This is my last week on school and then finals. I'm so nervous right now. I want everything to be over. I need vacations and free time. 

About the look, what i really like about this look is that it is very fresh and the little details like the vintage pin and my heels that I bought them on trip to Italy.  I wish I have more pics but my boyfriend is not the best photographer. He is trying his best to take me pictures of my looks.

I have a surprise for you! My hair is long again :D. And as you may suppose, I’m wearing hair extensions. The main reason why was my cousin’s wedding and I wanted long hair. I actually missed combing it and having it long.

The whole outfit was a gift from my boyfriend, everything but the hat, which you may remember from my other outfits. I honestly fell in love with my earrings. I’m so happy my boyfriend has such a good taste for clothes.

Now, talking about my life, I’m really stressed because of my final works so I have no time for anything else, and it actually makes me sad that I can’t keep up with your blogs. Just two weeks more and I’ll put up with you guys.

Las Vegas Part.2 /Look of The day

My second day at Las Vegas was pretty calm. We woke up early to feed some fishes by a lake ‘round there. It was really fun actually. The fishes were giant and it honestly scared me.  After that, we went to my aunt’s house to have a family grilled meat, it tasted really good, and at night we visited the casinos again and got into the Eiffel Tower. I was scared at first because heights make me dizzy, but watching it all from up there is impressive, Las Vegas is so beautiful. We went to sleep early because next day I had to come back to Mexicali.

Best Dressed: Met Gala 2012

It was my imagination but I think I saw a lot of metallics and brown lipstick this year. It was wonderful to saw all these beautiful gowns. I really love all the strong and modern gowns of everyone. Definitely this red carpet was fabulous.

Now my top five of best dressed.

5. Leighton Meester in a gold Marchesa dress with a lace bodice and poufy tulle skirt.

4.Dianna Agron in an emerald green Carolina Herrera Gown.

Style Icon: Audrey Hepburn

Yesterday was my biggest style icon’s birthday: Audrey Hepburn. I think every fashion girl loves her. She is one of the biggest fashion icons of the world. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Sabrina and Roman holiday are a classic.  My first movie that I watched of her was Roman holiday and I fell in love with her immediately. After this movie I searched the other movies of her and she won me. 

I have a biography book of her, some pictures with her quotes on my room, a t-shirt and her movies.  She makes me to be a better human being because she was so kind and good person.

Audrey Hepburn is so classic and elegant. She made the little black dress a basic on your wardrobe.

I really love her and my favorite quote of her is “Nothing is impossible the word itself says, “I’m possible”.

Happy Birthday Audrey!! And thanks for your wonderful and brilliant legacy.

Setting UP Sunday

Last Sunday I went to San Diego with my family and boyfriend to bought me a dress for a wedding that it’s going to be on May 12^th.  We went to different stores and malls and then I saw this beautiful part of the mall with a lot of flowers that I decided to do a mini photo shoot with my outfit.  To be really honest, it was very simple just a green and blue sundress and a big necklace. I didn’t want to be very extravagant because I was going to try a lot of dresses and I want to be comfy.

After fifteen dresses or more, I found the perfect dress on Macy’s. I don’t want to give a lot of details of the dress. I will prefer you to wait until the wedding but I will give you a clue…it’s black and pink.
