Last week I was given the chance to try the Exuviance Perfomance Peel and to take their peel challenge. I was kinda scared to be honest with you guys. It was going to be my first peel. I just heard horrible and bad experiences with this process on the face. 

You may heard me talk about my skin issues on the blog before. I had a lot of acne at my teens.  My skin is very oil and swearing. I need to take care of my face a lot. I always wear sunscreen on my face. So this peel challenge was going to be a whole new experience.  

Now my experience with Exuviance was good. It burn a little bit after the 10 minutes mark.  After that I applied the neutralizer and like a miracle, my skin felt calm and new. It was pretty amazing.  Then I applied Evening Restorative Complex and my skin was flawless. The process is very easy and is worthy. 

After the peel challenge I notice some improvements in my skin. My face was glowing. My horrible pores were definitely minimized.  Now I can take beautiful selfies :P

Dream Day Style Challenge

I think every girl in the world has dreamt of her magical wedding. To be really honest, I have a very good idea of what I want when this day comes. I know is going to be Tiffany's color and the theme will be Breakfast at Tiffany's...I know...I'm obsessed with this movie.

But today is a special day, Loverly, a bridal digital wedding planning, send me an email with a challenge to make a collage of my ideal wedding with a specific scenery. I choose "City Glam Wedding". When I was doing this collage, I thought about Gossip Girl and Blair Wardolf.

The dress is very classic and elegant. I can imagine Blair wearing this dress.  Another reason why I like this dress is because I love lace. For me, this would be my perfect bride dress.  

I want all the details of the wedding to be silver and shiny because I love sparkling things. 

Now you can have an idea of what I want for my wedding. I hope it will be like in 5 year or more from now. I'm still young and single jajaja

Regresa a clases con cúpones mágicos

{Toda esta ropa, calzado y accesorios lo encuentras en Dafiti}

Estamos ya en Agosto y significa que muchos de ustedes van a regresar a la escuela, ya sea a la preparatoria o universidad. Me pone algo triste pero a la vez feliz el saber que esta vez yo no voy a regresar.  Ya no voy a ir a buscar cuadernos o plumas nuevas.  Eso me divertía bastante. 

Debo de admitir que siempre me ponía nerviosa el pensar que me iba a poner la primera semana. 

Uno siempre debe de impresionar los primeros días. Mi papá siempre nos daba un dinero a mi hermano y a mí para comprar ropa y accesorios nuevos para la escuela.  El regreso a clases es una buena excusa para tener un guardarropa nuevo. 

Eso una lástima que no conocía cúpones mágicos en ese tiempo. Ya que para este regreso a clases cuenta con muchas especiales que debes de aprovechar especialmente con los cupones de Dafiti ó LOB. Son tiendas con buenos precios, buena calidad de ropa y con las últimas tendencias. 

Te voy a dar unos tips para la hora de elegir ropa para la escuela:

• Compro un par de jeans de buena calidad. Admítelo, son tu mejor amigo a la hora de ir a la escuela. Lo puedes combinar con todo. 
• Si quieres andar a gusto también un legging de color negro. Nota: Combinalo con blusas largas y holgadas que lleguen a tu trasero. 
• Blusas denim y graphic t-shirts son una buena opción para este regreso a clases.
• Invierte en un reloj casual para usarlo todos los días y así no tienes excusa para llegar a clases
• Un par de collares grandes y llamativos pueden lograr un look casual chic.
• Tu mochila debe de representar tu estilo. Hoy en día hay de todos los colores y texturas posibles. Encuentra una donde puedes todo lo que necesitas.

Hola mis petite monsters!

Me siento mega feliz porque ya se acerca la navidad y por si no lo sabían en mi familia somos muy navideños. Nos encanta esta época del año. Los colores, el olor a pastel recién horneado en mi casa, el árbol de navidad con sus foquitos y la convivencia en familia. Todo eso me encanta.

¿Ustedes donde van a celebrar navidad? 

Yo lo celebró con la familia de mi mamá y después año nuevo con mi papá. 

Les quiero mostrar el día de hoy esta hermosa ilustración de Pequita.

Fue una gran sorpresa y hasta lo sentí como regalo de navidad. Hace unos meses, ella me envío un correo diciéndome que quería hacer una ilustración de mi :D me sentí especial jajaja le dije que claro quesi y ayer me envío un correo con la ilustración. 

Me siento muy honrada y feliz de que ella me haya elegido para hacerme una ilustración. 

Sobre todo porque me gusta su estilo tan girly y femenina.

Platforms and Petite

One of the benefits of being a blogger is the opportunity to meet other people.

Sincerely the blog has really helped me with my shyness. Once your life is exposed it to the world, you must learn to be confident of yourself and be sociable

The blog made me meet Esmirna of Platforms for Breakfast.

She is a girl from San Diego.

Esmirna is so sweet and super cute. Also I love her style.

Her laugh is very contagious and both we are petite.

She contacted me when I was in Spain to do a collaboration together in the future.

During this time we became online friends.

Esmirna recently came to Calexico, the border city of my hometown 

and we took the opportunity to do a photo shoot together.

As bloggers, we are used to pose on our own and it was very funny when we had to pose together.  

We were dying of laughter as you can see in the photos.

That afternoon we had a great time together and also I met her husband, Alex.

We had great chemistry and I hope you can see her again in the blog.

I will love to do this again in the future.

Uno de los beneficios de ser blogger es tener la oportunidad de conocer a otras personas.

Sinceramente el blog me ha ayudado bastante con mi timidez. Uno se expone su vida al mundo y debe de aprender a tener confianza de si mismo y ser sociable. 

El blog me hizo conocer a Esmirna de Platforms for Breakfast. 

Ella es una chica de San Diego.

Esmirna es un amor de persona. Es súper linda y amo su estilo. 

Su risa es muy contagiosa y las dos somos igual de petite. 

Ella me contactó cuando estaba en España para hacer una colaboración juntas en un futuro. 

Durante todo este tiempo nos hicimos amigas por internet.

Hace poco Esmirna vino a Calexico, la ciudad fronteriza de mi ciudad y aprovechamos para hacer una sesión de fotos juntas. 

Uno está acostumbrado a posar por sí sola y fue muy chistoso cuando teníamos que posar. Cada quién hacia lo que quería y nos estábamos muriendo de risa como pueden ver en las fotos. 

Esa tarde me la pasé muy bien junto con ella y su esposo, Alex.

Tuvimos mucha química y espero que la vean muy seguido en el blog. 

Porque nos encanto hacer esto juntas.

Warby Parker Fall Collection 2013

Today Warbey Parker launches their fall 2013 collection of eyeglasses. They are wonderful. They have this vintage style that everyone loves since the “hipster glasses” trend started couple of years ago.  

As a kid I used to wear glasses. In fact my whole family wore glasses back then. Right now, the only member of my family who wear glasses is my dad. I remember my glasses were pink and very rounded. They were horrible. I wish they were like this ones of Warbey Parker back then.

Here are some pictures of their fall collection.  They are plenty of amazing styles of eyeglasses and sunglasses available on their website.  My favorite eyeglasses are Holcomb because they are like cat-eye and this kind style are my favorite. 

I hope you like it.  I can’t believe it is almost my 22th birthday –insert Taylor Swift’s 22 song-. Already my family told me that we are going to San Diego to celebrate my birthday because it is my favorite city of the world ☺ So I hope I will eat in my favorite restaurant over there.

Today's post is very special. It is a blogger swap, a very fun post in the blogsphere. A blogger swap is an exchange between bloggers, in this case the same garment.

My first blogger swap is with Dahyana from Twenty-Twelve.  She is a blogger from Mexicali, my hometown. I saw one of her posts that she wore the famous origami skirt or skort from Zara but in black.  Dahyana and me have very different style and we found very good idea to collaborate together and show our styles through the skort. Then Dahyana showed me her look, and I was surprised how similar the looks were. So the important question is, the skort made us to dress alike?

About the outfit, my favorite thing is my new earrings from efoxcity.net. They are so beautiful and versatile. I really want them to be the star of the outfit.

El día de hoy les traigo un post diferente, un blogger swap, una sección muy divertida que he visto mucho entre bloggers. Un blogger swap es un intercambio entre bloggers, en este caso usando la misma prenda. 

Mi primer "Blogger Swap" es con Dahyana de Twenty-Twelve. Ella es una blogger de mi ciudad. Me había dado cuenta en uno de sus posts que Dahyana tenía la famosa falda origami que todas las bloggers están usando pero de color negra.  Las dos tenemos estilos diferentes y nos pareció muy buena idea el colaborar juntas. Cada una va a enseñar su estilo a través de la falda.
Pero cuando me enseño su look nos dimos cuenta que nos vestimos casi igual pero con tonalidades diferentes. Acaso, ¿La falda nos hizo que nos vistiéramos iguales?

How are you? I'm fine and so happy to be in Maranello, Italy with my cousin and baby nephew. 

I have a huge love to Italy. It was my first trip to Europe two years ago. Also, Italy has the best food of the world. I can't stop eating. Finally I drunk a big cup of capuchino.  This tuesday, I'm going to Milán and we are going to shopping. I will take many pictures guys. I promise it.

¿Cómo están? Yo estoy muy feliz y contenta en estar en Maranello, Italia con mi prima y mi hermoso sobrino de 4 meses. Le tengo un gran cariño a Italia. Fue mi primer viaje a Europa hace 2 años. También tiene la mejor comida del mundo. No he dejado de comer. Desde pizza, queso y su riquísimo gelato. Aparte por fin tomé un capuchino. Este martes iremos a Milán para ir de compras. Les prometo que tomaré muchas fotos.

To punch up your look, pick up a color block cardigan in an extra long length or with a flutter hem. If you’re feeling bold, grab a color block tunic in a red, white, and black pattern and pair it with black pants from your closet. Add some short black booties or a platform pump and a few bracelets, and you’re good to go. For an extra splash of color, make the shoes red, or add a trendy red faux-snakeskin clutch.

You might prefer to ease into color blocking, and this fall’s crop of color block accessories lets you do that without blowing your budget. Pick up a lady-like square shoulder purse that gets its sizzle from contrasting blocks of black with blue, red, or even orange. For a subtler take on color blocking, go for tone on tone but with contrasting textures. Dark blue suede on light blue calfskin with a gold tone chain strap is glam at its finest! The look is sophisticated and very chic. Another big plus is that these items will look good for years to come.

You might prefer to step into the trend with a pair of color block shoes. These shoes aren’t like your granny’s spectator pumps. Today’s shoes are bold platforms with contrasting colors. Go for purple lizard platform booties with red toes. Worn with black tights and a purple mini, you’ll look and feel great. Add a simple and sleek short black leather jacket and a ton of gold chains and you’re office-appropriate as well as fashion right.

Whether you choose to buy an entire outfit or just a few accessories, color block is totally in this season, and you’ll feel great whichever way you go.
